A connected circle full of layers, a testament to the lives that were cut short by the October 7, 2023 disaster and the first months of the war that broke out in its wake.

Yana engraves in mirror writing on the back of the material (aluminum), and sews the carved sheets of material to a wooden frame. This technique, which involves physical effort, enables her creation.

During her first years in Israel, Yans Stup was hurled derogatory nicknames, and she wanted to be "more Israeli than Israeli". After years, she realized that "our story is a part of us, for better or worse."
