Gadu'a (Severed) at the Knesset
On the Knesset website
Gadu'a (Severed) is on long-term loan to the Knesset, Israel's parliament in Jerusalem. The work carries approximately 1,500 names of those murdered in the October 7th massacre. The names are engraved in mirror writing on the back of gold aluminum sheets, sewn onto a wooden frame, so that the surface takes the form of a severed tree whose rings are made of names.

Yana presented Gadu'a to a delegation that included the Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Israel and members of the embassy staff, the Director of the Polish Institute in Israel and members of the institute team, and a representative of the Goethe-Institut Tel Aviv, among other guests.
